Unit Converter ("we", "us", "our") is a free online unit conversion service available at unitconverter.website. The website is owned and operated by Aire Solutions, Wah Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan.

For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Aire Solutions acts as the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at any time at info@unitconverter.website.

We do not require an account, and we do not ask you for your name, address or payment details. Every conversion and calculation you perform runs entirely inside your own browser — the numbers you type are never transmitted to our servers and are never stored by us.

The information that is collected comes almost entirely from third-party services we use to keep the site free: Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for audience measurement. Those services set cookies and receive certain technical data about your visit, as described below.

Information you provide voluntarily

The website has no registration, no login and no contact form. If you choose to email or telephone us, we receive whatever information you include in that message — typically your email address and the content of your enquiry. We use it only to respond to you and we do not add you to any marketing list.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure and analytics tools record standard technical information when a page is requested. This may include:

• your Internet Protocol (IP) address, which may be truncated or anonymised by the processing service;

The values you enter into any converter or calculator — including the percentage, discount, sales tax and VAT calculators — are processed by JavaScript running in your browser. They are not sent to us, not logged, and not retained anywhere on our infrastructure.

Email info@unitconverter.website with details of your request. Because we do not operate user accounts, we may be unable to identify data relating specifically to you unless you can supply information that lets us locate it. We aim to respond within 30 days.

We operate from Pakistan, and our service providers — including Google — process data on servers located in various countries, including the United States. Where data originating in the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred internationally, our providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We do not maintain a user database. Server and security logs are retained only as long as needed for operational and security purposes. Data held by Google Analytics is retained according to the retention period configured in that product, and data held by Google for advertising is governed by Google's own policies. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for reasonable record-keeping afterwards.

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. We take commercially reasonable measures to protect the information handled through the site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our site contains links to external websites, and advertisements link to third-party destinations we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing them with any information.
